How we wish to seem might be telling us who we really want to be, maybe even who we were created to be, but we are stuck, stuck in old patterns, hurts, habits, thoughts, and actions. Maybe we just haven’t learned all we need to learn yet. Maybe we are still in the design process…

The things we once did so freely as children, maybe we never should have stopped doing those things. It makes me wonder when we started feeling so self-conscious or criticized that we stopped being free, that we stopped feeling brave and beautiful enough to fly like this little one…

Tribes are a beautiful thing. These are our people, the people to whom we belong and who belong to us. While we can have many friends, our tribe is special. It is those to whom we are truly connected in a very deep and real way. They are never farther away than a phone call. They know our stories. They have our back. There are a lot of hurting people out there. You may be one of those. Life is hard. I know mine is. I don’t talk about it, because I prefer not to focus on those things.
