This is so much easier than it sounds…ok…maybe not EASY, but not nearly as hard as you think it would be. And the benefits are tremendous.
Easy Ways to Get Your Steps In
- Walk in place
- Stairs
- Dance
- Set a timer on your phone to chime every hour if you’re at home and use that as a reminder to move.
- If you can walk briskly, you’ll get them in faster.
- Go for a run.
- Do a fitbit challange.
- Train for a 5k or 10k
- Do a race…locally or virtually.
I’m a huge fan of walking in place. It’s something I can do inside for whatever amount of time I have, and I don’t have to worry about bad weather. It makes it much easier to get in a routine.
