I think about these things all the time. It is so wonderful how we have the ability to learn and grow and be the person we want to be and the person God wants us to be. I’ve frequently contemplated what type of person I want to be. I think it’s important to reflect on these things… not necessarily to change ourselves but to grasp hold of what we want to reflect to others and to pray to God to help us to demonstrate that to others.

I was taking one of those Facebook quizzes and it asked what word would others use to describe me. That was a real stumper. I know what I wish I looked like, but had no idea if that translated outward. So this post is a good one for me.

I have to study my attitudes and my goals. If I really buy into becoming a person like that, then I will. If I get distracted (which you mentioned) it’s going to take longer!

Praying for the right goals and attitude is a great place to start. I hope soon I’ll be who I want to be!

I need to remind myself to stop before I say things. Sometimes words are better left unsaid and you can’t take them back. I feel like if I can achieve this, I will be able to achieve more balance in my emotions. No one wants to be an emotional train wreck!
